Squad Competition Results - CMP Tactical Lazer Tag Milwaukee

Posted November 10, 2018

On November 4 we held our very first Squad Competition in Milwaukee. It turned out to be one of the most intense competitive events we’ve ever hosted. It sometimes felt like the loudest our arena has ever sounded.

Be sure to  catch the video from the event on our YouTube Page and the massive photo album on our Facebook Page.

Unlike a tournament, during Squad Competitions everyone plays at the same time. Squads swap teams until they’ve played with and against every other squad. This also lets us play multi-objective games, which can lead to much different gameplay from a normal session. During this particular competition teams had to fight for two King of the Hill zones. When both of those ran out of points then the game instantly turned into a variation of Search and Destroy. One team had to make their way to the bomb, secure it, and get it upstairs to plant and get more points on the board.

Squads for this one would be a mix of up to three as a choice and then randomized from that point on. In the end Band of Brothers fought their way to first place, Jarheads secured second, and Platoon came in third.

All in all it was one for the CMP history books. Thanks to everyone that came out and had fun, and congrats again to our winning Squads! We hope to see all of you out again next time.
